Today, Friday, 17 November 2023, the University populace was informed about the inauguration of the new Caretaker Committee for Students for the 2022/2023 academic session via the school mail.
The new caretaker committee comprises the best students in each faculty of the University, and they are instated today by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Kalilu. The new leaders were led to the Vice Chancellor, by the Dean of Students, Dr. John Adewusi Adepoju, to justify the confidence reposed in them by the authority of the University.
The mail reads: “A new caretaker committee comprising of best students in each faculty of the University was today inaugurated by the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, for the 2022/2023 academic session.”
“Professor Kalilu admonished the new leaders, led to him by the Dean of Students, Dr. John Adewusi Adepoju, to justify the confidence reposed in them by the authority of the University.
“He advised them to be committed to a smooth academic calendar as approved by the Senate of the University, adding that any act of lawlessness will be met with stiff sanctions.”
