The current 500l students kick started their Logout Week today, 5th of April 2019. The event commenced with ‘Back to School’ as already lined up in the Logout Week calendar.
The day’s event started with an assembly session in front of the senate building where several students, dressed in High School wears of various types lined up to chant the National and School Anthem. After which an address was given by the ‘Principal’. A role that was played by the Dean of student affairs, Dr Azeem Ige.
In his address to the graduating students, the Dean commended the efforts of the organizers of the event as the school had intended to stop this the event this year due to the way it was abused last year. He said through their actions, they have convinced the school that they have made the right decision by giving them the go ahead.
The event was fun all through. With students dressing in the old school way as headmasters, teachers and high school students.
They Invicta crowd later dispersed from the senate building and went around the school then to College of Health Sciences where they ended the day’s event.
