The Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, in a memo sent to the mail this evening, as appointed renowned Professor of Art and Art History, Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, as the new Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Institution for the duration of s ix months with effect from the 12th of June, 2023.
With a stellar career spanning 24 years in the university and a passion for education, Prof. Kalilu brings a wealth of experience and a transformative vision to lead the esteemed institution into a new era of excellence.
Prof. Razaq Kalilu is a highly respected educator and scholar, renowned for his renowned achievements in the field of Fine and Applied Art. His works and achievements qualified him, some of which are not limited to;
- Vice President of Fine Arts Students Association; Branch and Zonal Chairman of SSATHURAI;
- Head of Department; Dean of Faculty, Chairman, Committee of Deans; Chairman, Committee of Deans and Provosts; and
- Deputy Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH among numerous other responsibilities.
