Can Workshop Technology Get Better?

On Monday, registered students went to the amphitheater to collect their tag, which was used as a pass throughout the training. Facilitators introduced themselves. Some who are yet to get themselves registered, were around for the physical registration and everyone got grouped.

On Tuesday, March 8, the timetable was released and the various places for each training was disclosed. On getting there, we were first grouped according to the serial number on the tag issued. For fashion designing, we were grouped into four due to the population. We took attendance according to the groups and we were introduced to machines and how to use a sewing machine.

The following day, we were taught how to take measurements of males and everything to be noted while measuring. The day after, we were taught how female measurements are taken and everything regarding measurements. On Friday, the last day of the training for the first week, we did revision on everything we were taught throughout the week.

The second week, we were taught how to cut  female and male clothing materials. Assignment was given to make any convenient style of female clothes shaped with brown paper.

The following week, we were taught how to sew shirts and trousers. Throughout the week, we kept on practicing cutting and sewing shirts and trousers. Assignment was given to cut and sew any type of wear of our choice with fabrics and we were asked to submit on the last day of the training, which was the last project for the training.

Other sections in the program include: Photography, Shoe and belt making, Copywriting, Barbing, Hair dressing, Makeup and gele tying, UI/UX Designing, Paint production, Catering and decoration, Digital marketing, Bag and bead making, Soap and cream making, Digital currency, Python programming, Data science,Frontend web Development, Interior decoration, Graphic designing.

Attendance was taken throughout the training and certificates will be awarded to each participant.

The skill acquisition program “EMPOWER LADOKITES ” was a success and a great achievement to the current LSUG, the school, and the students entirely.
