Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has bagged the second position at the Technology and Innovation Expo 2022 under the tertiary institution category.
The EXPO which is said to help Nigeria’s young talents showcase their work and enable them create new jobs for its citizens themed Sustaining National Economic Growth through Science Technology and Innovation was organized by the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. It took place at Eagles Square, Abuja between 14th March to 18th March.
The Smart Fishery System innovation which is powered by solar energy developed at the LAUTECH Center for Research, Innovation and Discovery, LAUCRID gave LAUTECH an edge over other tertiary Institutions’ innovations.
The members of the team who represented LAUTECH are Professor Taofeek Adedosu, Director of LAUCRID, Professor Baale A. Adebisi, Professor K. O. Oriola, Dr Alade Abass, Dr Oyedokun, Mr Adebayo Johnson, Mr Aminu Teslim, Adegoke Abdulquoyum, Aiyedun Abdulrosheed, Ibironke Johnson Adesoji, Akindele Felix, Aliu Waheed Idowu and Adesoye Adebukola.
