The social culture in LAUTECH has been on a downward spiral for as long as anyone could remember. The dreary academic instability has been a major reason for the loss of morale among students.
However, what seemed to be a drowning culture, bobbing up and down the ocean of instability resurfaced with a gasp, grasping a breath of fresh air with one word on its lips. FREEDOM!
The recent party organized by Now Sounds Friday tagged XODUS; FESTIVAL OF FREEDOM was reported to witness an enormous number of Ladokites who were seeking respite in times of such looming trials of monotony and boredom.
Now Sounds Friday have in the past, organized social celebrations ranging from The Intern Party to L.O.X which has been quite a success and have received numerous praise for it.
From the lighting to the music, and choice of activities, Now Sounds Friday have been able to create an impression that they are taking the social culture in LAUTECH to the next level.
While some had their reservation, Felix, a Ladokite who was at the party described it as a mind-blowing experience. “It was full of vibes and energy,” he said. “I attended because I thought there would be a rap battle but even though that wasn’t part I enjoyed every bit of the party.”
