Narrating his ordeal in a Whatsapp chat with Laurel, he said he was boarding the bike to Under G but found himself in Ibadan when he regained consciousness. Student files petition to end Cybercrime in LAUTECH. With rumors of planned a crackdown on cybercrime in LAUTECH by security agencies, a student has filed an online petition to bring the situation to end. In the letter to the Students’ community, the petitioner condemned the single negative narrative while highlighting overlooked cases of innovation by Ladokites. Update on semester academic calendar. An updated calendar will be released soon, according to SUG President Laurel. Clearly, factors including the recently-suspended ASUU strike and postponed elections have derailed the academic calendar, which was released on Jan 3, to some extent. It is still uncertain if the update will affect the Matriculation ceremony which is scheduled for this Thursday.

Activist Deji Adeyanju has been granted bail. Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju was imprisoned over two months ago for his alleged involvement in a homicide. He now has been granted bail by the Kano High Court.
